CONTEMPORARY COLLECTION

The museum holds a collection of works created in its workshops, built up over the years through encounters with contemporary artists and the material of the local tradition, ceramics.

Founded in 2004 with Mathieu Mercier's donation, it has been expanding every year with equally prestigious names, but also with pieces by young artists, and is constantly evolving into a set of extremely heterogeneous works, testifying to the versatility that even such a traditional material as ceramics acquires in the encounter with contemporaneity.
