On the occasion of the residency project at FACC Faenza, the studio of the artist Urara Tsuchiya will be open upon invitation on Saturday 7 March.

The works produced during the residency shown on preview, will be part of the artist solo show at ADA Rome, opening Wednesday 25 March.

At Museo Carlo Zauli in Faenza there will be a meeting with the artist and the projection of the video:

INDICATIONS ABOUT THE OPENING OF MUSEUMS FOR THE CORONAVIRUS EMERGENCY
….. with respect to the ordinance, the opening of museums, libraries and archives, areas and archaeological parks, monumental complexes (that is, places of culture including Article 101 of the Code of cultural heritage and landscape, referred to in Legislative Decree No. 42 of 22 January 2004).
Opening, however, a condition that guarantees assured modalities of contingent use or in any case such as to avoid gatherings of people, taking into account the size and characteristics of the premises open to the public, and such that visitors observe respecting the distance….

We have planned multiple screenings
at 17.00 pm
at 18.00 pm
at 19.00 pm
with a maximum of 15 participants inside the Museum which in any case offers ample space.
We will respect the recommended distances.

Urara Tsuchiya (1979, Japan) lives and works in Glasgow. She works mainly with ceramics, performance, video, and live events, often incorporating soft sculpture, costumes, and home cooking. These function as props to set up an alternate environment for out of the ordinary behaviors to take place.
